Anderson has compiled a separate web page to address the most common issues and questions related to this drug and trial. The Pancreatic Tumor Study Group strongly urges that all interested in this trial read this web page very carefully and completely to fully understand the situation regarding the Endostatin (TM) trial at M. Clinical Research:

The PTSG announces the opening of several new protocols involving treatment for advanced/metastatic pancreatic cancer. See the Clinical Trials/Category D page for details. Several new Phase I trials will be added in the very near future, as well as two Phase II studies which are currently under IRB review.

Education/Awareness: Fundraising for Research

November 7, 1999: PanCAN presents the Second Annual "Evening With The Stars" gala at the Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA. For information, including tickets, table reservations, program book ads and donations to the silent auction go to PanCAN's Evening With The Stars Information Site. Deadline for RSVPs to this event is October 18, 1999.

Education/Awareness: Texas State Legislature Resolution

Thanks to the efforts of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and their supporters, the State of Texas has passed a resolution declaring November 1999 "Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month". This resolution will coincide with PanCAN's "Evening With The Stars" Benefit on November 7, 1999. Both the Senate and the House have passed the resolution as of May, 1999.
