Patient/Family/Caregiver Support

The Anderson NetworkThe Anderson Network: "Sometimes the best help comes from someone who's been there."

The Anderson Network is an organization of current and former patients of M. D. Anderson. Whether you are newly diagnosed, in treatment, or just looking for a friend, the Anderson Network can help. This area contains information on the support system and the "Warmnet" support/information Internet mailing list. New members and volunteers are always welcome.

Also visit the Pathway To Hope Care Section, the page describing all of the support systems available to cancer patients both at M D Anderson and worldwide. This includes the Place...of Wellness center: "the first of its kind in the nation, providing an environment where all people touched by cancer may enhance their quality of life through programs that complement medical care and focus on the healing abilities of the mind, body and spirit."

(Note: the Anderson Network, Pathway to Hope and Place...of Wellness are official M D Anderson pages, linked to the institutional home page)
