Behavioral Health Forum: How Integrating Science and Practice Informs the Future
The integration of latest science and best practices in the field of mental health and substance abuse are the most critical elements to assuring that the future of the behavioral health system in Texas is both effective and efficient.  Toward that end, the Department of State Health Services is honored to host a Forum that will feature a discussion among the leaders of two of the most highly regarded research institutions in the nation:  MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Menninger Clinic. 
The public is encouraged to attend. Public comment will be taken at the conclusion of the event.

  • Dr. Stuart C. Yudofsky, M.D., D.C. and Irene Ellwood Professor and Chairman of the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences of Baylor College of Medicine and Chairman of the Psychiatry Department of The Methodist Hospital;
  • Dr. John M. Oldham, Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff of the Menninger Clinic, and Professor and Vice Chair of the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Baylor College of Medicine.
