Clinical Research Training for Research Nurses

In addition to completing the Human Subjects Protection Training, individuals taking the position of Research Nurse are required to complete Clinical Research Training, regardless of previous clinical research experience. This training involves two half days of classroom activity. Other personnel involved in the conduct of clinical research are also encouraged to attend.
 

The Clinical Research Training Class is a workshop designed for novice clinical research personnel such as research nurses/ study coordinators/ data coordinators. The workshop includes hands-on activities that simulate scenarios routinely encountered in the day to day conduct of a clinical research study. This workshop is a supplement to other educational sessions available that focus on the overall conduct of a clinical research study.
