Cure on the Colorado
The Friends of Science Park present the fourth annual Cure on the Colorado fundraiser at Riverbend Park in Smithville, TX. The event features live music by the original Triumphs band, catered dinner and silent/live auctions. Proceeds will benefit education and research at The Virginia Harris Cockrell Cancer Research Center at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Science Park. This Central Texas research facility is recognized as a world leader in research on the molecular basis of cancer cause and prevention.
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for dinner admission and 7:30 p.m. for general admission. The event ends at 11:00 p.m. Admission per person is $40 for dinner admission (advance purchase only) and $15 for general admission (advance purchase or at the gate). All ticket holders will have access to the live entertainment, the silent and live auctions as well as the marketplace, a new feature of the Cure on the Colorado this year.
Sponsorships are also available for this event at levels of $5000 (Diamond), $2500 (Platinum), $1000 (Gold), $500 (Silver) and $250 (Bronze), all of which include tickets to the event.
