After attending this activity, the target audience of Physicians from Pathology, Hematology, Cytology, Informatics, Thoracic, Transfusion Medicine, Clinical Chemistry, Sarcoma and Pathologists, Clin/Surg Pathology Trainees, Med Techs, PHDs should be able to:
· Discuss and apply recent research and developments in the field of Laboratory Medicine/Clinical and Anatomical Pathology, Molecular Pathology and Hematopathology (Knowledge, Competence, Performance);
· Compare current trends in Lab Med and Pathology Res and apply to their potential clinical applications (Knowledge, Competence, Performance);
· Evaluate and transfer experimental findings into clinical practice, particularly pertaining to Lab Med and Pathology to improve patient outcomes (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes);
· Identify and assess important clinical and research areas of Lab Med and Pathology (Knowledge, Competence).
