After attending this activity, the target audience of Pathologists, Clinical & Surgical Pathology trainees, Medical Technologists, Faculty, and other healthcare professionals from Pathology, Hematology, Cytology, Informatics, Thoracic, Transfusion Medicine, Clinical Chemistry and Sarcoma should be able to:
· Discuss and apply recent research and developments in the field of Laboratory Medicine/Clinical and Anatomical Pathology, Molecular Pathology and Hematopathology (knowledge, competence, performance).
· Compare current trends in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology Research and apply to clinical applications (knowledge, competence, performance).
· Evaluate and transfer experimental findings into clinical practice, particularly pertaining to Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (knowledge, competence, performance).
· Identify and combine important clinical and research areas of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (knowledge, competence, performance).
