Ernst Knobil Distinguished Lecture

Nobel Laureate, Thomas A. Steitz, Ph.D. of Yale University will present the 12^th Annual Ernst Knobil Distinguished Lecture,

“From the Structure and Function of the Ribosome to New Antibiotics”

on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at UTHealth Medical School, located at 6431 Fannin, Sutie MSB 3.001, Houston, Texas 77030. 

Admission is free and open to the public.

Speaker Bio: Dr. Steitz won the 2009 Nobel prize in Chemistry for his groundbreaking illustration of the structure and function of the ribosome using X-ray crystallography.
