Friends of Integrative Medicine Evening Lecture Series - “The Joy of Mindful Eating”

Is there more to food than nutrition? Does how we think about food, or how we eat impact our health? Can I enjoy food, guilt free? How can I become more mindful of my eating choices and habits?  

Dr. Kristeller’s research focuses on compulsive eating and obesity and the use of meditation as a way to promote self-regulatory processes. Currently she is examining ways to integrate meditative techniques into more comprehensive therapy or support programs for those with cancer.
