Listening Session to Improve the Provider Experience (Faculty Session)

Listening Session to Improve the Provider Experience (Faculty Session)

Evidence shows improving the provider experience inherently improves the patient experience. We want to hear from you and your peers to learn what barriers you are facing when it comes to delivering an exceptional patient experience.

As such, we are hosting provider listening sessions to gather feedback about the provide experience. We will collate feedback into recommendations that we will share back with providers as well as senior leaders to improve the provider experience. We plan to share our recommendations at the next Rolling Operational Priority Review meeting.

  • All clinical faculty are invited (we are holding separate sessions for advanced practice providers).
  • Sessions are 1 hour, and walk-ins are welcome.
  • Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
  • All feedback is welcome. To kick off the conversation, we will ask about barriers to improving the patient and provider experience. We also will ask for input related to these topics:

o   EHR

o   Clinic environment

o   Staffing

o   Templates

o   Working to the top of licensure

o   Communication

o   Care coordination

o   Patient volumes

o   Decompressing clinics: survivorship and continuity of care
