Speaker: Dr. Anita Kinney
Speaker Bio: Recruited from Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah to the University of New Mexico Cancer Center and trained at the University of Pennsylvania, UT-Houston School of Public Health, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and the National Cancer Institute, Dr. Kinney is an international and highly acclaimed expert in cancer prevention and public health. Her research focuses on understanding variations in cancer risk, outcomes, cognitions, and emotions in populations and communities. With a particular emphasis on breast and colorectal cancer, she is improving health behaviors and cancer survivorship and reducing cancer risk in diverse populations.
