NGS Hands-on Laboratory Training

As the importance of molecular genetics grows with the move toward precision medicine, molecular cytogenetics techniques will become the standard tools for disease profiling and research. This 3 day event includes a hands-on CGH array processing workshop, seminar on complimentary technologies, as well as microarray and NGS data analysis software tutorials lead by field application scientist. The content covered will be of high relevance to both constitutional, as well as cancer profiling, and provides familiarity with full workflows, from samples to data analysis. All software covered is free to use for Agilent CGH array and target enrichment analysis. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: • Clinical cytogeneticists • Clinical cytogenetic technologists • Molecular cytogenetic technologists • Cancer researchers • Molecular geneticists • Molecular genetic data analyst YOU WILL LEARN: • Analysis of NGS target enrichment data using the Agilent’s free analysis software SureCall. • Hands-on demonstration on performing CGH array hybridization including: sample labeling, array hybridization and pre-processing. • Analysis of CGH microarray data using the Agilent’s free analysis software CytoGenomics. • Considerations for the complimentary use of molecular cytogenetic techniques to profile constitutional and cancer samples. • Breakout sessions on interpretation software Cartagenia Bench for CNV/NGS
