Mays Clinic, Floor 2, near The Tree Sculpture, at The Learning Center

This event kicks off the Everyday Miracles: Medical Imagery in Ex-Votos traveling exhibit from the National Library of Medicine. The Learning Center in the Mays Clinic will feature and display from Apr. 28 through Jun. 7.

Recognized as “devotional paintings giving thanks to a saint or deity for a miraculous healing or blessing”—the interesting and colorful Ex-Votos exhibit provides insight into how people coped with disease and healing as early as the 15th century.

The Anderson Network sponsors Partners in Knowledge News in Cancer (PIKNIC). MD Anderson patients, caregivers, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
