Target Audience and Educational Objectives:

After attending this activity, the target audience of Physicians, Clinical and Research, Faculty, APNs, Social Workers and Trainees should be able to:

  • Provide more appropriate approaches to cancer patients facing treatment side effects and psychological and/or psychosocial stress (knowledge, competence, performance, patient outcomes);
  • Demonstrate the role and effectiveness of psychiatric care of cancer patients with the support of psychotherapy and medication management to improve quality of life (knowledge, competence, performance, patient outcomes)
