UT System Systems Engineering in Healthcare Conference: Achieving Transformational Change in Healthcare
The conference features keynote talks by Denis A. Cortese, M.D., Foundation Professor and Director, Health Care Delivery and Policy Program, from Arizona State University; and Steven J. Spear, D.B.A., Senior Lecturer, from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Also on the agenda are UT's Kenneth I. Shine, M.D., Executive Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, who will facilitate an invitation only roundtable on Systems Engineering for UT Presidents, Chief Business Officers, and Chief Quality Officers. Chancellor's Health Fellow for Systems Engineering Victoria S. Jordan, PhD., Director of Quality Measurement and Engineering at UT MD Anderson, will present a Systems Engineering Overview to the attendees.
The conference will include breakout sessions focusing on the following topics: Strategic Planning and Policy Deployment, Systems Engineering Tools and Successful Projects using Systems Engineering in Healthcare.
The conference is open to faculty, staff and students from all institutions of The University of Texas System. There is no registration fee, but attendees must register at UT Systems Engineering Conference
