Pain concepts will be explored through a total pain perspective, as pain can be experienced physically as well as spiritually and/or emotionally.  Nursing issues and symptom management at the end of life will be discussed.  Ethical issues and case studies will be presented.  The day will end with discussion and interaction about caring for ourselves.
