DESCRIPTION:\nPlease join us for the Monthly Energy Balance Journal Club sponsored by the Center for Energy Balance in Cancer Prevention and Survivorship. This month Dr Sue Schembre and Dr Carrie Daniel-MacDougall will be discussing the biobehavioral determinants of visceral adiposity. \n  \nThe transdisciplinary journal club on energy balance in cancer brings researchers from multiple disciplines together to examine a different energy balance-related topic each month. Our moderators discussing current research ranging from basic mechanisms of energy balance and cancer, effect of energy balance on clinical outcomes, and public health implications. Our intent is to highlight the translational and multi-disciplinary nature of energy balance research and facilitate communications among interested researchers.
