                        Incorporating Health Services Research in Clinical Trials

 

 

Phase III clinical trials are designed to identify clinically significant differences between study populations.  Outcomes of interest typically include survival or tumor response.  Other clinical outcomes, e.g. quality of life or utilities, or economic outcomes may also be worthy to incorporate in a study.  I will lead a discussion on the incorporation of health services research outcome measures into the design of clinical trials.
