Case 16

A 12 year old boy with ALL
This patient had been previously treated with L-asparaginase. A noncontrast CT obtained because of severe headache (16A) demonstrated left parietal "flamed-shaped" hemorrhages suggesting venous infarction.

An MR (noncontrast sagittal T1, 16B), shows superior saggittal sinus thrombosis (arrows). This patient recovered completely.
