Case 5

An 8 year old girl with ALL
This pt, presented with seizure and decreasing mental status. MR with Gd showed an enhancing retroclival mass (arrows). This was considered highly suspicious for focal leptomeningeal leukemia. However, because the CSF demonstrated only elevated anti-toxoplasmosis IgM, a biopsy was performed. No tumor was found at biopsy and the patient recovered with multi-drug antimicrobial therapy.
