A satellite facility of the MD Anderson Research Medical Library, the Research Medical Library – South Campus is an electronic resource center designed to provide conveniently located, on-site services for faculty, students, and staff located at the south end of the Texas Medical Center.

Services:

Literature search consultations and reference assistance
Face-to-face instruction on PubMed, Scopus, EndNote, and other topics upon request
Daily pick-up and delivery of requested books, articles, bound journals, and other materials from the Research Medical Library collections, as well as outside materials obtained through our ILLiad interlibrary loan service
Two group study/meeting rooms equipped with MediaScape technology, which allows meeting participants to instantly switch projection between multiple laptops
Public computer workstations equipped with internet access, Microsoft Office 2007, and ClinicStation
Notebook laptops that can be checked out for use in the meeting rooms or anywhere within SCRB4

Facilities:

Occupies the southeast corner of the ground floor of SCRB4
Two collaborative meeting rooms equipped with MediaScape technology
Four “kiva” style casual study/meeting rooms available on a first-come, first serve basis
Four-person demo room for small-group teaching sessions
Six public computer workstations
18 total seating capacity

Monday - Friday 11:30 am to 4:30 pm
Saturday - Closed
Sunday - Closed
