    • is the home of the National Cancer Institute, and includes comprehensive information on cancer. It includes a drug dictionary, dictionary of cancer terms, clinical trials and information in Spanish.
  • National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship
    • NCCS offers free publications and resources that empower individuals to become strong advocates for their own care or the care of others. NCCS offer Cancer Survival Toolboxes and printed and recorded materials to aid patients in coping with cancer.

    • Natural Medicines offers information and ratings on dietary supplements, natural medicines, and complementary, alternative, and integrative therapies.
  • National Quality Forum Endorsed Standards
    • This directory currently includes performance measures. NQF also endorses other types of consensus standards, including preferred practices and measurement frameworks. The National Quality Forum (NQF) is a nonprofit organization that works to build a consensus on national priorities and goals for performance improvement and endorsing national consensus standards.

  • NCI Visuals Online
    • NCI Visuals Online contains over 2,500 images from the collections of the Office of Communications and Education and Office of Media Relations, National Cancer Institute, including general biomedical and science-related images as well as cancer-specific scientific and patient care-related images. These images are in the public domain except as noted.
  • Newspaper Source
    • Newspaper Source provides cover-to-cover full text for more than 40 (U.S.); international newspapers. The database also contains selective full text for 389 regional (U.S.) newspapers. In addition, full text television; radio news transcripts are also provided.
  • Nursing Reference Center (TMC Library)
    • A comprehensive, point-of-care resource for nursing, Nursing Reference Center draws search results in part from Davis's Drug Guide for Nurses; AHFS Drug Information Essentials; Diseases and Disorders: A Nursing Therapeutics Manual; Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary; and Davis's Comprehensive Handbook of Laboratory & Diagnostic Tests with Nursing Implications. Nursing Reference Center includes: "quick lessons" on diseases and disorders; evidence-based care sheets; practice guidelines; patient education sheets, some available in Spanish; CE modules; news; research instruments; and information on legal cases. Nursing Reference Center provides direct access to full text articles found in CINAHL. MD Anderson employees can access this resource by signing up for remote access to the TMC Library.
