    • 1990 - present. Provides full text for nearly 3,180 scholarly publications covering academic areas of study including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, and ethnic studies. Includes full-page images as well as color embedded images.
  • ArticleFirst - OCLC
    • 1990 - present. Updated daily. Indexes 13,500+ journals (business, humanities, medicine, popular culture, science, social sciences and technology). Some abstracts are available.
  • Bibliography of Native North Americans- EBSCO
    • Current edition. Bibliography of Native North Americans (BNNA) is a bibliographic database covering all aspects of native North American culture, history, and life. This resource covers a wide range of topics including archaeology, multicultural relations, gaming, governance, legend, and literacy. BNNA contains more than 80,000 citations for books, essays, journal articles, and government documents of the United States and Canada. Dates of coverage for included content range from the sixteenth century to the present.
  • Current Index to Statistics - CIS
    • 1974 - present. Updated annually. The Current Index to Statistics is a bibliographic index to publications in statistics and related fields. References are drawn from 111 core journals that are fully indexed, selected relevant articles from non-core journalst, proceedings, edited books, and other sources.
  • Dissertations and Theses - ProQuest
    • Current edition. The ProQuest Dissertations & Theses database (PQDT) is the world's most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses. It is the database of record for graduate research, with over 2.4 million dissertations and theses included from around the world. Each dissertation published since July 1980 includes a 350-word abstract written by the author. Master's theses published since 1988 include 150-word abstracts. Bibliographic citations are available for dissertations dating from 1637, and more than 65,000 new citations are added to the database every year. Full text in pdf format is available for about 1 million records with hard copy available for all records through the UMI service.

    • Current edition. Designed specifically for K-12 schools and libraries. Students find the answers they need from more than 2,000 full-text magazines, newspapers, reference books, and transcripts-plus thousands of pictures, maps, educator-approved websites from Homework Central®, plus audio/video content.

    • The OCLC FirstSearch service connects you to information in a wide range of subjects in 11 databases.
  • Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia - EBSCO
    • Updated regularly. This database provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas.
  • Gale Virtual Reference Library - Thomson Gale
    • Updated regularly. Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only in the library, but now you can access them online from the library or remotely 24/7. Because each library creates its own eBook collection, the content you see may vary if you use the database at different libraries (your school, your public library, or your office).

  • HandBook of Texas - Texas State Historical Society
    • Current edition. The Handbook of Texas, provided by the Texas State Historical Association is a multidisciplinary encyclopedia of Texas history, geography, and culture. It comprises more than 23,000 articles on people, places, events, historical themes, institutions, and a host of other topic categories. The scope is broad and inclusive, designed to provide readers with concise, authoritative, and accessible articles that provide factual, nonpartisan accounts on virtually every aspect of Texas history and culture.

    • Most current file. Updated monthly. Contains genealogies, local histories, third-party histories, and primary source materials of towns and families in all 50 states, as well as Canada, England, and Ireland. Search by title, family name, geographic area, or subject.
  • InterDok: Directory of Published Proceedings
    • Updated coninuously. Since 1965, InterDok, a directory of published proceedings has identified resulting material from 280,000+ conferences, congresses, meetings & symposia. Subject areas include medicine, life science, engineering, technology, pollution, ecology, social sciences, and the humanities.
  • Legal Collection - EBSCO
    • Updated daily. This database contains full text for nearly 250 of the world's most respected, scholarly law journals. The Legal Collection is an authoritative source for information on current issues, studies, thoughts and trends of the legal world.
  • MAS Ultra - School Edition - EBSCO
    • 1975 – present. Updated Daily. Designed specifically for high school libraries, this database provides full text fo r more than 700 popular general interest and current events publications with information dating as far back as 1975 for key magazines. MAS Ultra – School Edition also provides more than 500 full text pamphlets, more than 350 full text reference books, 84,011 biographies, 83,472 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 192,999 photos, maps and flags.
  • MasterFILE Premier - EBSCO
    • 1984 - present. Updated daily. This database provides full text for more than 1,900 general reference, business, consumer health, general science, and multi-cultural periodicals. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for over 2,510 periodicals. For some titles, full text archives are available back to 1975. The database also contains full text for nearly 200 reference and travel books; 88,000 biographies; 60,000 primary source documents; and 91,000 photos, maps, and flags.
  • Middle Search Plus - EBSCO
    • 1990 - present . Updated daily. This database provides full text for nearly 140 popular magazines for middle and jr. high school research. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles), and full text information dates as far back as 1990. Middle Search Plus also contains 84,011 biographies, 83,472 primary source documents, and an Image Collection of 192,999 photos, maps and flags.
  • Military & Government Collections - EBSCO
    • 1990 - present. Updated regularly. Military FullTEXT provides full text from over 330 military and general interest publications. Designed to bring current news to all branches of the military. This database also offers indexing and abstracts for over 380 magazines. Some titles included are Military Review, Parameters, Army Times, and Defense. This database is updated weekly on EBSCOhost.
  • Oyez: U. S. Supreme Court Media
    • The Oyez Project is a multimedia archive devoted to the Supreme Court of the United States and its work. It aims to be a complete and authoritative source for all audio recorded in the Court since the installation of a recording system in October 1955. The Project also provides authoritative information on all justices and offers a virtual reality 'tour' of portions of the Supreme Court building, including the chambers of some of the justices.
  • PAIS International - CSA
    • 1972 - present. Updated monthly. The PAIS International database from CSA contains references to more than 553,300 journal articles, books, government documents, statistical directories, grey literature, research reports, conference reports, publications of international agencies, microfiche, Internet material, and more. Newspapers and newsletters are not indexed. PAIS International includes publications from over 120 countries throughout the world. In addition to English, some of the indexed materials are published in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

    • 1993 - present. Updated twice per month. Contains citations to papers presented at worldwide meetings, conferences, expositions, workshops, congresses, and symposia. It covers published information received by the British Library Document Supply Centers.
  • Primary Search - EBSCO
    • Updated daily. This database provides full text for nearly 70 popular, magazines for elementary school research. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles), and full text information dates as far back as 1990.
  • Proceedings - OCLC
    • 1993 - present. Updated twice a month. Provides tables of contents of papers presented at conferences worldwide. Each record contains a list of the papers presented at each conference. It covers published information received by the British Library Document Supply Centers.
  • Serials Directory - EBSCO
    • Current file. The Serials Directory provides access to the most up-to-date and accurate bibliographic information as well as current pricing structures for popular serials. This database contains nearly 184,000 U.S. and international titles, including newspapers, historical data for an additional 20,000 titles and data from nearly 83,500 publishers worldwide.
  • Texas Digital Sanborn Maps - ProQuest
    • Most current file. A collection of digitized maps that provides detailed property and land-use records that depicts the architecture of more than 12,000 U.S. towns and cities throughout the past one hundred years.
  • Texas Reference Center- EBSCO
    • Updated regularly. Texas Reference Center is a Texas specific product designed specifically for school and public libraries. The database is comprised of periodicals, reference books, reports, and other content relevant to the state. Texas Reference Center contains 30 full text periodicals, 100 full text reference books, several Texas newspapers, and much more.
  • TOPICsearch - EBSCO
    • Updated regularly. This current events database allows researchers to explore social, political & economic issues, scientific discoveries and other popular topics discussed in today’s classrooms. TOPICsearch contains full text for over 102,800 articles from more than 2,500 diverse sources, including more than 1,550 full text periodicals.

    • 1000 BC - present. Updated daily. Union catalog of materials held by OCLC libraries. 41,000,000+ bibliographic records for audio-visual materials, books, maps, musical scores, newspapers, periodicals and more.
  • World History Collection - EBSCO
    • 1964 - present. Updated regularly. This database offers a global look at history with content from Africa, Asia, North and South America, Europe and the Middle East. World History Collection contains cover-to-cover full text for nearly 150 titles, including many peer-reviewed journals.
