The Research Medical Library offers library orientations and tours throughout the year for faculty, staff, students and sponsored visitors. Groups external to MD Anderson should contact the Public Education Office at 713-794-1733.
Tours of the Research Medical Library are available upon request and are offered as part of all orientation programs. The tour takes 20 minutes while users become familiar with the collections, services, and physical layout of the library.
Library orientations are provided to faculty, staff, students and sponsored visitors. School of Health Professions orientations for undergraduate students are offered every Fall semester. Departmental Summer Programs are eligible to schedule a library orientation and tour for interns, students, or visiting researchers. The introductory library orientation is designed for new library users. Orientations include registration for library services and hands-on activities highlighting online journals and databases.
