ADAM Health Illustrated Encyclopedia
  A part of MedlinePlus, this encyclopedia provides concise information along with illustrations on a wide variety of medical topics. There are also links to dictionaries, directories, drug information, health topics, and other resources.
Bartlett's Familiar Quotations
  This tenth edition of 1919 edition contains over 11,000 searchable quotations and isthe first new edition of John Bartlett’s corpus to be published after his death in 1905. The new editor has chosen to supplement rather than revise the work of the first name in quotations.
Dictionary.com
  This resource is more than a dictionary. It contains a searchable thesaurus and links to other related resources. In addition to the definition and pronunciation of a word it also gives a history to the origin of a word similar to the Oxford English Dictionary.
Life Science Dictionary
  This is a searchable dictionary of more than 8,300 terms. Currently, most of the terms deal with biochemistry, biotechnology, botany, cell biology and genetics. Also involved are some terms relating to ecology, limnology, pharmacology, toxicology and medicine. Common species and exotic animals are not included. Medically and biotechnologically relevant organisms such as bacteria, worms, fungi, and some plants are included.
MedicineNet - MedTerms Medical Dictionary
  This medical dictionary provides definitions to terminology used in bio-medicine including commonly used acronyms. In addition, this source has links to brief articles on Diseases and Conditions, Procedures and Tests, and Medications.
