The Student Remote Access site provides remote, off campus, access to the Library's licensed research oriented resources such as databases and online journals. This resource is available to qualified distance education students affiliated with the University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.

To find out if you qualify for an account on the system, please contact your instructor. How you apply for an account depends upon which program you are enrolled in. Your instructor will guide you through the process. You may also contact the Library at 713-792-2282 for more information.

Among the qualified programs are the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston, School of Health Professions degree and certificate programs at University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, and the Center for Biomedical Engineering joint programs with the University of Texas at Austin.

If you are an employee of M. D. Anderson Cancer Center you can apply for remote access to the Library's resources (online journals, books, and databases) by first calling 4-INFO (713-794-4636). 4-INFO will provide you with information to request a VPN remote access account.

Log into the site with your account information.

You will then be directed to the Library's home page:

You only need to log in one time. Thereafter, as long as you leave your browser open, you will be able to access resources within the site without logging in again.
