Effective Communication

Communication plays a huge role in determining our success in the workplace. Presentations are an integral part of our professional lives, so how can we improve them to enhance learning? Guest presenter Lee Andrew Hilyer, MLIS, M.Ed. in Instructional Technology, head of Information and Access Services at the University of Houston Libraries, will provide three simple evidence-based and theory-backed guidelines we can use to drastically improve our presentations and make them more learner-centered by combining words and pictures.
