M.D. Anderson employees have access to the online journals and databases available from the Houston Academy of Medicine Jones Library in the Texas Medical Center.

To register for remote access, follow these steps:

1. Access the HAM-TMC Library Registration for Remote Access at http://resource.library.tmc.edu/remoteaccess/.
   
   
2. Fill out the form.  You must use a valid MDA email address.  The Library Card # is the number located by the barcode on the back of your MDA ID.
   
   
3. Your confirmation message will be sent to the address you provide in the registration form. Click on the link in the confirmation email and you are ready to start using the Library's electronic resources.

The Research Medical Library will be adding the following new journals to its collection of online journals in early 2009:

To view any of these journals, please search the title in the Online Journals Quick Search available on the Research Medical Library’s website.  If you would like to request a journal to be considered for purchase, please use the Collection Recommendation Form.  Any questions about finding online journals can be directed to the Information Desk at 713-792-2282 or email RML-Help@mdanderson.org.
