Healthy Bites: Avoid processed meat

Research shows that eating processed meat can raise your risk for colorectal cancer. Processed meat is smoked, cured, salted or has added chemical preservatives. Bacon, hot dogs, pepperoni and roast beef are all processed meats. Instead, choose chicken, fish or tofu as a healthier option.
