The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center Audiovisual Build Out of Pickens Tower Overview The University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is in the process of a tenant build out of space in the Pickens Academic Tower (PAT) located on their campus in the Texas Medical Center located in Houston, TX. This specification details the audiovisual requirement for a multi-media conference room on level 19 that will be utilized by the Department of Thoraces. Scheduled Substantial Construction Completion – 02/26/2010 GMP 5 - Tenant finish out of shell space in the PAT including audiovisual fit-out of the Fitness Center. Scheduled Substantial Construction Completion – 03/17/2009 GMP 5 - Tenant finish out of shell space in the PAT this work will include the audiovisual fit-out for a Distance Learning Classroom with tiered seating located on Level 3. Scheduled Substantial Completion – 08/31/2010 GMP 5 - Tenant finish out of shell space in the PAT includes additional Nursing Education classrooms, a small and a Distance Learning Classroom, and shared Conference Rooms, All space are located on the level 2 connection between PAT and the Faculty Center Tower (FCT). Scheduled Substantial Completion – 04/22/2010 GMP 6 – Executive Level Audiovisual fit-out for the executive floor includes divisible conference space, an executive conference room. large conference room, and multiple medium to small conference spaces on Level 20. Substantial Construction Completion – 05/28/2010 The following descriptions are primarily intended to explain general space functionality a more detailed description of the AV system is provided later in the specification. It is important to note that the vendor or vendors selected to develop M. D. Anderson’s RFP are not automatically qualified to engage with the Institution for purposes of implementing the recommended strategy or solutions. The engagement of contracted services for implementation can, at M. D. Anderson’s discretion, be solicited via a second and separate Request for Proposal. This RFP is for review purposes only. Proposals will not be accepted if not submitted through M. D. Anderson's online Ariba Sourcing tool. With this process, you will be able to respond to our RFP, including specifications, terms and conditions, and other pertinent documents within one centralized web console. This RFP will be available for review on Ariba on 01/26/10 at 11:59 a.m. CST. Interested Suppliers Next Step: The next step in this process is for you to register your company information on Ariba Supplier Portal. To participate in this sourcing event or any future events, M. D. Anderson now requires ALL suppliers, regardless of current business relationship, to complete an online registration. This will allow us to collect general information about your company.
