For admission into the M.D. Anderson Program
in Cytotechnology, the applicant must have:

Received a baccalaureate
degree from an accredited college or university and satisfactorily
completed all undergraduate courses listed (minimum grade
point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is required).
OR
Have completed all undergraduate courses required by a
university with which we hold an affiliation agreement
and be eligible for a baccalaureate degree in Cytotechnology
at the end of the UTMDACC program.

All prerequisite courses,
namely 20 semester hours of Biology,
8 semester hours of Chemistry and 3 semester hours of
Mathematics which must have been completed before admission
into the program.

A personal interview and
general aptitude test.

Each applicant must provide
the following information and materials:

Transcripts (directly
sent from college). Foreign graduates must have educational
documents reviewed (course by course evaluation) by
an ASCP-approved evaluation agency (such as World
Education Services, Inc. P. O. Box 745, Old Chelsea
Station New York, and NY 10011).

preferably from teachers or employers

TOEFL Results (foreign
graduates only)
Minimum Score of 550
The above information must be received by
March 10 in order to be considered for admission to the upcoming
class. There is a Use Fee of $1000.00 and the cost for books
