74-year-old male with myxoid malignant fibrous histiocytoma.

1.	(12/22/91) An excision had been performed at an outside institution a month prior to this MR study. Axial T1W MR image reveals 'concentric ring' appearance of hematoma with central low intensity and peripheral high intensity secondary to varying stages of hemorrhage. On T1W MR images this is a characteristic appearance of hematoma.
2.	(12/22/91) Axial T2W MR image reveals heterogeneous high signal intensity hematoma. Wide local excision performed at our institution 15 days following the MR study confirmed hematoma without any residual neoplasm.
