Patient 7
21-year-old female with recent history of trauma.

1.

Axial T1W MR image reveals intermediate signal intensity mass in the region of the vastus intermedius muscle in the proximal left thigh.

2.

Axial (FSE) T2W MR image reveals high signal intensity inhomogenous mass with areas of decreased signal intensity coursing through mass and surrounding edema. This finding has been reported in early myositis ossificans correlating with cellular central fibroblastic proliferation and a myxoidstroma.
