1.
T1W MR image reveals slightly hyperintense mass in right thigh. About 1000 cc of turbid fluid was noted within mass on pathological examination. The hyperintensity is presumed secondary to increased protein content of fluid. The fluid was not grossly hemorrhagic. No therapy effect was noted on histological examination.
2.
Sagittal T2W MR image reveals markedly hyperintense mass secondary to fluid content. Note tumor nodule at periphery of mass (arrow on JPEG image).
3.
Sonogram of right thigh obtained for purpose of percutaneous aspiration reveals hypoechoic fluid containing mass with peripheral solid hyperechoic tumor nodule (arrow on JPEG image).
