Scientific English courses are available to all employees of MD Anderson who are non-native speakers of English. The classes are designed to help employees of MD Anderson improve their communication skills in an English-speaking, yet highly diverse, environment. Dr. Mark Picus leads each of these courses. For questions contact SciPubsEducation@mdanderson.org or Dr. Mark Picus at firstname.lastname@example.org .
All classes are free of charge.
Participants must speak English at the intermediate or higher level and should be familiar with research and general biomedical terminology.
The courses are popular, and there is often a waiting list. If you are unable to attend, please notify the instructor as soon as possible so others may attend.
Please note that attendance at the first class meeting is always required!
There are four sets of classes listed below. All classes require pre-registration. Please do not sign up for more than two classes during a session.
