Admission
Policy
|
For admission into the M.D. Anderson Program
in Histotechnology, the applicant must have:
-
Received an associate
degree in a laboratory science. Applicants must have maintained
a minimum grade point average of 2.5 (c) on a 4.0 scale
while in college.

Completed one year of
mathematics and one year of a laboratory
science
-
A personal interview will
be required of applicants who meet basic admission requirements.
Each applicant is responsible for providing the following
information and materials:
- Transcripts
- Application
- Three letters of recommendation
- Certificate of general health and
TB test
- TOEFL (foreign applications only)
with a score of 550 or better
All above information must be received by April
1, 1999 in order to be considered for admission to the upcoming
class. There is a user fee of $500 and the cost for books and
supplies is $150.00
