For admission into the M.D. Anderson Program in
Medical Technology, the applicant must have:
- Received a baccalaureate degree from an accredited
college or university and satisfactorily completed all undergraduate
courses listed. OR
- Have completed all undergraduate courses required
by a university with which we hold an affiliation agreement and
be eligible for a baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology
at the end of the UTMDACC program.
- All prerequisite courses listed in the brochure
must have been completed before admission into the program
You should begin the application process one-year
before you expect to enter the Program. The Admissions Committee,
composed of the Medical Director, Program Director, and two additional
faculty members, begins the selection process in the winter proceeding
the August entry date. While your transcript record will be given
the most weight in the selection process, committee members will
also consider your statement, interview, and faulty reference letters.
Relevant work experience may also warrant consideration.
Students will be selected over the winter and spring
months for the August class. All applicants will be notified of
their status by June 15. Students not selected for the Program must
petition in writing if they wish to be considered for a later class.
