Current Issues in
Transfusion Medicine

Current Issues in Transfusion Medicine is a newsletter written by physicians for physicians who deal with acquiring, preparing, and delivering transfused blood and blood products to patients. The newsletter is published triannually by the Section of Transfusion Medicine and Laboratory Immunology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Though the issues covered arise specifically from our experience with transfusions in cancer patients at M. D. Anderson, these issues are also important to any physician involved with the transfusion of blood and blood products.
