Case 6

A 71 year old female with AML
This patient was imaged because of severe headache. She had previously been treated using an Ommaya reservoir. This contrast-enhanced MR image demonstrates thickened and uniformly enhancing dura. While this could represent dural leukemic infiltration, that diagnosis could never be established, and the patient remained in complete remission. Though never biopsied, the findings are consistent with meningeal fibrosis.
