Data Management & Sharing Assistance
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has issued a revised Data Management and Sharing (DMS) policy applicable for applications submitted on/after January 25, 2023. This new policy requires investigators and institutions to plan and budget for the managing and sharing of data, submit a DMS plan for review when applying for funding, and comply with the approved DMS plan guidance during the funded period.
The Research Medical Library can assist you with creating a data management plan, assigning metadata to your research, finding a data repository, and leading discussion sessions for faculty on data management.
